Very clean beach, lovely and sandy. Lots of life guards. Beware, tide comes in very quickly. Places to hire wind breakers and beach chairs

Our family have been visiting woolacombe for years! It's such a beautiful stretch of golden sand and surfable waves! We've gone from digging sand castles with mum and dad to surfing with our friends to eating fish and chips on the beach and watching the sunset. Highly recommended place, it's just a real escape from every day life! I never... More

This beach is quite simply a huge expanse of beautiful golden sand Its clean and lovely The views are fantastic. There are beach patrols and RNLI patrols with controlled and monitored safe areas for swimming. Plenty of litter and dog poop bins. Stock up on water and food unless you are happy to pay rather high prices, but that is... More

This beach is a surfers paradise. It is very long and wide with soft sand. It looked livery clean. Nice for children as it does not shelve and paddling is safe for children and dogs. Good parking and lots of eateries around

For this country you won't find a better sandy beach. Beautifully kept - I saw zero litter. The water was clean and the views for 360 degrees were fabulous.

Me and my family came to this beach for around 5 years before trying out elsewhere, but I cannot recommend it highly enough - three sections of each - no dogs, dogs on leads and dogs not on leads, lifeguarding fantastic and lots of it, great waves and paddling, rockpooling, ice cream and food vans, mini fairground area and equipment... The beach is so big and long you can always find a spot well away from the crowds. At the Woolacombe end is a beach cafe and rides for the children and in high season there are chip and ice cream vans. Drive up the hill out of Woolacombe following the coastline and you will come to The Warren where... More
