This is a small (1 acre) "zoo", featuring mainly primates, the lemurs and meerkats being kids' favourites. There are also birds and a tropical environment. They are doing a great and worthwhile job of conservation, and deserve support. They certainly don't do this to get...More

A great trip to this interesting (unique) zoo. The hosts were great with kids and us alike and there are some interesting and unusual animals there that are endangered or need attention. My kids loved the meerkat experience and we got some great pictures too!...More

We went during February half term and was slightly disappointed with the lack of animals on display which was a great shame. It took us less than an hour to go round and that was taking it slow. Luckily we only had our two year...More

A tiny zoo situated in woodland, very rundown enclosures, some of the aninmals including primates appear to be in poor health, lack of suitable enclosures for the margay. This zoo has clearly seen better days as the enclusres and walways appear to be rotting and...More

Small zoo, perfect for young children and a short visit. Saw a baby squirrel monkey. Helpful staff who encouraged us to take a trip to Santa's grotto where the children met elves, did some craft and had their faces painted!

A delightful small zoo tucked away under the Ness. We had Christmas gift vouchers to Feed the Meerkats (only £25); not a long experience as they are greedy little creatures and it was very cold and windy. We were invited to enter the enclosure and...More
