This curious attraction offers a look back at a far simpler time. Long before Disneyland & Universal Studios, there were still amusement parks, but they were portable. They'd be loaded up onto trucks, trains or trailers once they wore out their welcome in a given locality & move on to someplace new. Dingles Fairground Heritage Center is an attempt to... More

Family outing, ages 7 to 60. Everyone had an amazing time. The staff were so friendly, helpful and informative. Had a beautiful lunch there and enjoyed the museum and rides. Will definitely go again next time we are in Devon. Good day out even if the weather is not at its best.

This place is seemingly in the middle of nowhere, which is a shame as it deserves to be high on the visitors list. This is my second visit whilst on holiday in the area last time being around 2004, when our family were younger. I returned with my 18 and 21 year old daughters and had just if not more... More

When we arrived we did start to wonder if we'd made a mistake but once inside we had such a laugh on the old fair rides, the bumper cars in particular. Was good value too and food in cafe was very nice. would come back again.

This was a place I had wanted to visit for some time and it did not disappoint. The history was well displayed and easy to access, not too much; the rides and machines were a trip back in time to my youth! The staff were, without exception, friendly & helpful, adding to the enjoyment. We had lunch in the restaurant... More

We took our grandchildren there in half term,We did wonder whether it would be boring for them, but they really enjoyed it,the rides were great and the slot machines held them for a good hour or so.The staff were dressed in halloween costume and were great with the kids. The only thing that let them down was the unwiped table we sat... Didn't know what to expect. Easy to find. Plenty of parking. Price to enter was reasonable with a ticket lasting a year was good value. Lots of 1 and 2p games so take some coppers with you. 10 tokens a person is plenty. Lots of older basic rides from pre 80s. Ghost train was a giggle. It is only a... More

Initially we planned a visit here travelling from Bristol as as well as offering a nostalgic experience it states the venue is fully accessible for disabled visitors. Having took this at face value we were disappointed to learn that although the site was wheelchair friendly not a single ride was. We feel it would be a good idea to impart... More
