The striking Start Point Lighthouse is situated on one of the most exposed peninsulas on the English Coast, running sharply almost a mile into the sea on the south side of Start Bay between Kingsbridge and Dartmouth.

Walked there from slappton sands. Bit of a trek but worth it. If you drive be prepared for an expensive car park at the end before the mile walk to the light house. Visit the light house when it’s open as very interesting
Awesome tour and fabulous guide well worth the visit and we where greatful that we could leave harvie our dog downstairs . There was only three of us on the tour, and both myself and my partner enjoyed it.

Felt the parking at £5 was a bit dear but guess they have to maintain the carpark and access road.
Interesting walk down and back with terrific views all the way. Didn't attempt the lighthouse tour due to creaky knees.
