Lovely valley, farm fields and moorland trails with grazing ponies and sheep. Combine your route with a tea room or pub. Had some very useful advice on directions from locals.

Stunning area. A lovely family day out dartmoor pony watching, walking, bike riding. There is also a lovely pub nearby as an ideal stop for lunch.

Good horses, friendly lead riders but it's a long and steep trek by road to the open moor if only booked on an hour ride.
