Absolutely lovely farm with the opportunity to hold animals and interact with them. Great for learning as they hold continual activities throughout the day. Great for picnics as you can go back to the car or they have a restaurant inside, and a separate cafe. Great day out for everyone

We visited with my daughter and our two grandchildren. Unlike other reviewers we felt that the entry fee was quite reasonable. Children under 3 are free, seniors are discounted and the adult fee is not much more than much lesser attractions local to us. They also offer a free return within 7 days if it rains which is a really... More

Thank you for the fantastic review. We very pleased to hear that you had a terrific day and found loads to do. Apologies for your experience in the Cafe. We're normally such an upbeat bunch who just want to have fun with our visitors. I'm glad that the ever cheerful and enthusiastic Mark was able to make your day! I... More

We recently visited pennywell farm with my two nieces and grandparents, whilst they enjoyed their time at the farm and had lots of lovely cuddles with various animals I have to say that I was surprised at the cost to get into the farm is £15 per adult.... this seems very steep as you can't spend a whole day here... Thank you for your review. I'm very pleased that you enjoyed your time at the farm and your animal cuddles. I do understand your concerns over the lamb. Our lambs are taken in from local farms where they have been either orphaned or rejected by their mothers. This means that very often they have not had enough colostrum and can... More

Maybe March isn't the best time to visit 1 frightened mouse, 1 hiding rat, numerous guinea pigs desperate not to be fussed again. Sorry but the lambs pen was a little bit smelly too which is really unusual at Pennywell. I'm sure it's just the time of the year.

Hi Pam Thank you for your review. We do have to trust that adults supervise their children in the pets area and we do not allow visitors into the pens to take the animals out without a member of staff present. The majority of our visitors only notice how noisy the lambs are at bottle feeding time! As with all... More

Came here simply to cuddle the miniature pigs which was the best experience ever! Also enjoyed feeding the goats and lambs and played crazy golf. The place looks great for kids with lots and lots to do! The cafe is very average but we enjoyed sausage, chips and beans. Would definitely recommend.

They aren't lying when they say it's the friendliest place in Devon! All the staff were fantastic, attentive and so friendly! There was a different activity every half hour so you just don't stop if you don't want to, my little girl (nearly 3) loved it as did all 3 adults. The food in the cafe was very reasonable for... Had a fabulous time at pennywell. We fed sheep and goats and cuddled piglets. We also watched the pig race which was very entertaining. The only negative is the cost of food in the cafe as it was quite pricey (£5 for a ham baguette). The animals all seem well looked after and very tame. We will return in future

I really like Pennywell. Its a lovely day for little children and the staff are all very cheerful and friendly, (especially Peter the tractor and trailer driver. He made the ride very fun for the children). However I feel that £14.95 for an adult is extremely expensive when it is primarily aimed at the interest levels of a child. I... More

Hi Louise, it's great to hear that you had a good day. Peter really is lovely and makes the tractor and trailer very special. I'm sorry that you think we are expensive and while we would genuinely like to be able to extend the length of the return tickets, we have to manage them to make sure that certain days... More
