Located in the Dartmoor National Park the River Dart Country Park has an award winning campsite and is open daily from Easter to the end of September for fun and adventurous holidays and days out for families.Set in 90 acres, with lakes, parkland and woods with the majestic River Dart flowing through the Park it is the ideal place to stay or visit. Children can run and play on our Pirate Ship lake and Adventure Playgrounds and our on-site facilities cater for everyone. The Old Sawmill cafe offers a great range of food so mum can also have a break and our onsite shop stocks items for your BBQ! B&B accommodation is also available throughout the year and don't forget all guests have free access to the extensive adventure playgrounds for the duration of their stay. For those seeking more adrenalin fuelled fun there I sour Dare Devil activities including water zorbs, high ropes course, canoeing and kayaking - instructor lead activities at extra cost. There is an adventure around every corner!

Went to the River Dart today and had a good day but very expensive. We're a family of four and paid £37.20 to enter the park. There are a few free activities such as an assault course, lake, mini zip wire, low ropes and walks. But if you want to fill the day you need to pay more for other... More

We had five nights here with our motor home and were joined by family in their camper van and caravan, altogether six adults and a 4 and 8 year old plus one four month old Springer Spaniel. The Country Park camp site is clean and well maintained and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Whichever way you look the scenery... More

I took my six year old girl camping recently and we both adored this place. There's so much to do. Peaceful walks and an endless amount of secluded play areas. The zip wire, high ropes course, canoeing and zorbing were just so much fun. You can tell the staff love it too as they're all so happy and bend over... More

Well signed posted. Nearly £30 to gain entry for 3 people and then you have to pay to go on anything worth going on apart from adventure play ground. Terrible cup of coffee with artificial milk. Zorbing well done and good value. High Wires - good course but hopelessly understaffed. Took 90 mins as we were behind terrified child. No... More

Visited the country club twice this week and was thrilled by the number of activities available onsite for all ages. We did not camp this time but seriously considering it for next time we are in the area. Our kids age ranges from 2 up to 14years and they were all entertained. There is more to see in this woodland... More

Spent 4 days at river dart with family of 12, 6 adults and 6 kids aged 1 to 12 and can definitely say a brilliant time was had by all! Staff were brilliant booking and checking in, accommodating our large group, the pitches were spacious and well maintained and the shower block large and clean. The park is fantastic for... More

Had a great day here but the lovely weather helped 😎 Entrance fee is reasonable but if you want to do the zorbing, high ropes and canoes that is extra and can add up. The high ropes are really fun (and scary) but I thought much harder than a junior go ape so be prepared! If it's a sunny day... More
