We went here for a walk - wished we'd brought our dogs as there were so many playing and looking totally happy. Views of the sea are stunning - there had been a hump backed whale here on the day we visited, but we didn't see him, though earlier visitors had. Apparently dolphins can often be seen too. There are... More

An ideal place to take a stroll. Look out across the sea, sometimes able to see Dolphins swimming. Fishing boats passing by. Relax or explore the area. Be prepared for a cold breeze but still enjoyable.

Have visited here 3/4 times now and it amazes me every time. Visit here with my husband and two children aged 12 & 7. It is a destination all about the views and therefore best to go on a clear bright topic day. There is a small cafe there which is good for a tea or coffee, but prices can... More

Six of us walked up here from the Berry Head hotel on Sunday morning, after a wonderful night eating and dancing at the hotel. It was cold and blustery but so beautiful. Although a grey morning, we were lucky enough to see the sun as we arrived at the top of the headland. The views are stunning. A must visit... More

Six of us walked up from Berry Head Road, through the trees. The trees sheltered us from the wind. But once at the top and exposed on the head boy did it blow. Wonderful views across to Portland Bill on a clear day. There's Napoleonic history, cafe and hides for bird watching. Well worth the short walk. A must for... More

Great walking with a good headland where you can look out to the sea and see dolphins as well as various fishing boats. Cafe nearby is good too and worth a visit. Lighthouse is on Berry Head but you can't get access to it. Would be good for long dog walks (on a lead)

A beautiful place that you simply have to visit if you are in Brixham. Lots of great walks, lovely volunteers who are willing to answer any questions and amazing views of the bay. Very dog friendly and the kids love it too.

Never get bored of visiting Berry Head and enjoying a pleasant walk in beautiful surroundings. The views are breathtaking allowing time to truly study the area and appreciate its natural beauty. The Guardhouse coffee has unique charm and the walks offer scientific as well as geographical and historical interest.
