We received a warm welcome, food was excellent and good value and we received a part refund when fog brought an early end to our round. I felt the course would be better if it had a few more challenges such as strategically placed fairway bunkers.

The new caterers have certainly turned things around. Delicious fresh cakes. I know they were fully booked for Sunday roast last Sunday - all at very reasonable prices. You can always play golf as well.

We called in here after a visit across to Burgh Island for some lunch as my Partner Keith is a member at Barnham Broom and was interested to see what the course and facilities were like. We were met by a lovely guy who was once associated and worked for Lotus Cars and knew lots of the same people as... More

A nice course, i have played it twice. On both occasions the ladies section have been pompous and stuck up. Today i pkayed with my 10 year old he plays of 21 and in the Fevon Golf League so very experienced, today the course was busy and we waited on most tees for the group in frony to clear, which... Please accept our sincere apologies for the actions and comments of the ladies in question. We pride ourselves on being one of the most friendly Golf Clubs in the area as many of the previous reviews endorse. Perhaps these ladies were having a 'bad golf day' but it does not excuse their rudeness. We trust both you and your son... More

I am only reviewing this club, based on our visit to the bar. After missing the ferry across the Avon estuary we walked up to the club hoping to get a taxi. After twice trying unsuccessfully, we went to the bar for advice and not only did the lovely lady give us a friendly welcome - bearing in mind the... More

Have visited several times with my husband and friends. Whilst he is out playing I tend to visit the bistro at the club who serve excellent food always. I've not been disappointed once! Very friendly staff in the bistro and at the bar also.

When we arrived the course was closed due to heavy overnight rain however credit must go the greens staff who managed to get it open for us to play in the afternoon. The course is an interesting challenge and has some stunning views. Unfortunately due to the weather we didn't see it at its best but it was still a... More

Staying locally we automatically enjoyed visitor membership to the club so decided to pop in for a drink one evening. A really great club house with outstanding views across the fairways & adjoining countryside to the coast , quite breath taking. We were warmly welcomed and enjoyed a lovely social gathering with other members, some of whom we had previously... More

Terrific views. not a long course over parkland. somewhat exposed (bet its a challenge in the wind). Needs a bit of TLC on the edges but a great course to play. good food and drink to finish. very friendly staff

We had a lovely golf trip to Bigbury on Sunday and enjoyed the club house, food and drinks.........really nice service and atmosphere. Our big problem as golfers was the height of the grass off the fairway because it had last been cut on Thursday and as we are in growing season, it just seemed to be too difficult to get... More
