Guernsey's history in one room! A bit pricey at £5 but as a contribution to the preservation of these beautiful tapestries (there are 10 separate panels) it's worth it.

Friendly staff, well stocked little shop, a coffee shop and the tapestries! The skill in producing the tapestries echoes the pride that the locals have in their heritage and their island.

I do a lot of embroidery and was impressed by the quality. I heard that children also did their bit to partake. It was a small venue, neat and one had a place to sit and listen and hear about each panel..
