This is a beautifully restored working mill with a static exhibition full of fascinating information. The setting is beautiful, and is part of a new cycle/walking track which runs down the whole of this picturesque valley. There is a coffee shop and I bought a...More

Albeit only on milling days. When we visited the main wheel was freewheeling, but with a good leaflet and plenty of signage, we were able to understand how the mill worked. Complemented with a history of milling, an exhibition of a typical miller's home and...More

This would have been nice to see, but is only open 2 days a week so we had to settle for the walk in the nearby woods and looking at the outside. As a general note, this year is a poor year to see Jersey...More

Fascinating to see how flour was killed in times gone by and the information was well laid out but you needed to be fit to climb all the stairs

Quaint little attraction which gives a lot of information about the milling process. Staff helpful although no tea room here. Worth a look and buy some milled flour.

A lovingly restored working watermill with a few rooms to see. A very good but small cafe. The place is so well run by excellent enthusiastic staff.

I've driven past this place on so many occasions but fortunately I was out walking today in the beautiful St Peter's Valley and the mill was opened. So glad I popped in to this working water mill. I learnt all about the mechanics of water...More

We walked to this water mill from the War Tunnels, a pleasant walk over a fairly steep hill. It is in good working condition, and you can explore three floors from top to bottom. Admission is free if you have an England & Wales National...More
