Lovely gardens. Japanese garden is well worth the visit. I liked the roses around the formal garden. Cafe sitting area was also good although the selection was limited and I would have liked jersey ice cream. Good place to visit.

We felt this was very expensive for very poor facilities, although the gardens were very beautiful. But the Loos!!! They are now mixed facilities, and not enough of them. One loo was unusable as there was pee all over the seat and floor, there was...More

We went here today our las day of our holiday. The Gardens were beautiful and so colourful. Ended up in their lovely coffee shop and had a lovely hot chocolate. The Japanese Garden especially was absolutely beautiful. Well worth a visit.

I know that gardens are very much seasonal attractions but we found the garden a bit of let down. The Japanese Garden is good but the whole thing was not good value for the £9.50 pp entry fee. The size and scope of the garden...More

We enjoyed a beautiful and quiet visit in this privately owned botanical garden. Special award to the Japanese garden with the pond and delicate trees and flowers. Lovely for families with children. The herb garden cafe was nice. So was the bookshop. Do not miss...More

Some say it's worth a visit and it probably is when it's in full bloom but even at it's best it's very overprices at £9,50 per person. £1.50 yes, £9.50 definitely not.
