The best sunbathing and water sport spot on the island! Good for families but also others. A lot of good restaurants and bars around so you can make a day of it. Lots of parking close by but also on a regular bus route.

We stayed at a hotel on the beach promonade, and despite the (at times) very stormy weather the view over the sands and out to sea was facinating. This must be voted best beach on the island, certainly it would have the canine vote- its wide open expanses of sand just a joyful winter paradise for dogs. And in the summer... More

Huge wide clean golden soft sand beach at half-tide, that deepens to half a mile deep at low tide. Spring tides have a 40ft range and on a few days a year the high tide mark is up against the seawall. So check the tide tables on Ports of Jersey website before setting up that barbecue. Below half tide St... More

One of the most beautiful & safe beaches. The beach is a must to visit. It is a South facing beach. Plenty of first class restaurants & beautiful gardens as well as a large car park.

I have been here several times over the years parking at the main car park across from the beach of the main road. Behind the car park going up into the hills is a beautiful park which when up there shows great views of the bay. There is prom walk that runs around the bay just above the beach which... More

This is a wonderful, clean sandy beach. There are several adventure sport companies operating off the beach - coasteeering and kayaking highly recommended. Great restaurants behind the beach - recommend the Wayside for good food at great prices

This was a pleasant place to stroll on a sunny November afternoon. The sea view was lovely and a great place to sit and chat
