Our Trafalgar Tour Director had our Driver take a short detour during our day's itinerary and had him pull onto a quite side road so we could make a "photo stop" to view the former summer home of Lord Mountbatten. The oceanfront location makes for...More

What a setting! The castle and the way it sits on the rocky cliff is stunning. Absolutely breathtaking. Nice little village to drive thru nearby, maybe stop for a quick snack if you want.

Beautiful, Coastal, Classiebawn Castle set high on Mullaghmore, County Sligo. Such a pity it is not open to the public for tours. It is owned privately.

Castle looks stunning on the landscape, just a shame you can't get access to it with it being private.

Whilst you cannot get close to the castle the views from the coastline are spectacular. The small fishing village on the peninsula is beautiful and has some interesting history. Well worth a look.

This castle dominates the horizon from miles around and looks like a lovely castle/home. It is unfortunate it is not open to the public, as it does look like a great place to visit.

Is there a way to get to the area if you don't have a car? I'll be traveling by bus and train. I'd really love to get some photos of this gorgeous castle!
