We have been making unique porcelain and stoneware in Roundstone since 1981. Rosemarie O'Toole decorates porcelain thrown by her husband Seamus Laffan. She also makes an extensive range of porcelain jewellery. Her artwork on paper is available framed and unframed. A wide range of durable handmade tiles decorated by Rosemarie is on offer & we can design plaques for house names or business use. We also make a wide range of distinctive domestic stoneware and are happy to take on orders for same. Our work is available exclusively from our studio, opening daily 10-6. Off season please ring to confirm but we are there most days. It should not be confused with the imported industrial ware sold as ' Roundstone Pottery ' throughout the country since 2011, which has no connection with us or this village.

Were looking for a tea pot for some time now. Walked in and were told, that they had one in the kiln. Came back and got the one we were looking for. They have also a good selection of cups, mugs and other.

This is a tiny place, where you can see the potters at work at the wheel and painting the pottery by hand. The hand painted porcelain pieces are works of art!

We stopped in on what I seem to recall was a Monday morning in late winter, when this was nearly the only thing open in Roundstone. We are not collectors of ceramics or anything else, but we wanted to stretch our legs on the arduous...More

Overall it is an OK shop and like all of Ireland staffed with friendly people. Would say the product quality is in the mid range, and the prices are fair. We are kind of in the upper range of ceramic collecting, so I just gave...More

I suppose it's five years since we were last here and I have had good use of the blue bowl I bought then. I was very pleased to add a beautiful brown/black brother to it. It is always a delight to call in and chat...More

We travelled from Clifden to Roundstone in a hurricane. The pottery is beautiful, as is the bespoke jewellery. My little guy was not impressed getting out of the car in the middle of a storm but it was so worth it, I absolutely adore the...More
