Stopped by the workshop, on the grounds of an ancient monastery, during a bike tour last week. Spent 10-15 minutes chatting with Seamus, a delightful guy and very gracious with his time and knowledge. Stunning, imaginatively Irish-themed work on display and for sale. Bought a...More

Visited here to buy a gift, Seamus and Ross are so helpful and everything is handmade there - so many beautiful pieces to choice from. I left with a beautiful lamp that was made by Seamus and painted by Ross. The receiver of the gift...More

This compact Workshop/Outlet is quite close to the popular seaside village of Roundstone, in what seems to be a small Industrial Park, named, I’m assuming, after one of the early (and extremely successful) Chief Executives of our Industrial Development Authority (IDA). Apparently, “Roundstone Ceramics” are...More

Were looking for a tea pot for some time now. Walked in and were told, that they had one in the kiln. Came back and got the one we were looking for. They have also a good selection of cups, mugs and other.

This is a tiny place, where you can see the potters at work at the wheel and painting the pottery by hand. The hand painted porcelain pieces are works of art!

We stopped in on what I seem to recall was a Monday morning in late winter, when this was nearly the only thing open in Roundstone. We are not collectors of ceramics or anything else, but we wanted to stretch our legs on the arduous...More

Overall it is an OK shop and like all of Ireland staffed with friendly people. Would say the product quality is in the mid range, and the prices are fair. We are kind of in the upper range of ceramic collecting, so I just gave...More
