Almost hidden of the main road on the island it's easy to pass without seeing it. There is little information on this place but its extremely historic and about 1200 years old.

This was a stop on our bus tour of the island. If you like old cemeteries and history, it is a great stop. There really isn't anything there but ruins and the graves but I enjoyed a little time being there.

We went here on a tour. The stonework left is so pretty. A small cemetery with many gravesites from 1800's and earlier. Some are recent. Just such a treasure for this island.

Our tour guide took us around Aran, but made a point to stop at the 7 Churches. Historic site easy to navigate and easy to walk

Of the attractions on the island, this is about the easiest to visit. It's right off of the main road, so not much hiking is required. If you love ruins, definitely check it out. They're old and cool. Pretty typical of ruins though.

I was able to take a look at this site very quickly on our tour of the whole island with Aran Mini Bus Tours (Mr. Tom Dirrane). My mom and I really wanted to see the whole island, so we decided to stop for few...More

Most tourists stop here on their tour of the island. In reality it needs a while to take it all in and look at all the little churches and the multiple gravestones and crosses. One of the most remarkable is the base of a cross...More
