First time to camp at this pretty park. We had about 20 church scouts so they set us up with four primitive campsites P5, P6, P7 and P8. There is no water or electric but there is a fire ring in P8. It's the top...More

This is a high quality state park that is always clean and well kept. The walking trails are nice, and they actually keep up with them to make sure downed trees and such aren't blocking them. The restaurant is delicious, but a little expensive. The...More

Terrible experience. Narrow spaces, outdated and bad electrical box. Asphalt dropped off both sides of the narrow spaces and on the main road. . Great for locals with small RV's or trailers. Locals were obviously the main reason it was open. It was full Friday...More

A very beautiful park with a lot to do. They have 2 different camping sites. Lots of hiking and biking trails. There is a museum and a creek for people to wade in.

We attended a family reunion there. It's a beautiful park. Stop and take a look. It's also full of history. The Trail of Tears starts there.

I don't see any grills at the primitive sites. Maybe two have fire rings with a grate on top. Others don't. Bring your own stove or small grill with charcoal or a grate to put over a campfire.

Yes, I do not remember how many but they are nice. It is very popular so I would try to reserve in advance. Or you could arrive mid week.
