We got to the mills by 4:35, the last tour starts at 4. You cannot visit the mills on your own and it's disappointing that they close so early when there is daylight until almost 8 (in spring when I went) They have a cafe...More

We went to Skerries Mills on day off specifically for the tour and I could not recommend it more. Paddy who guided the tour is a character and had a great knowledge of the whole place and the history involved. He kept us all entertained....More

We live near Skerries and tell every one we meet to visit the Mill. Its a great place to have a light lunch, with a coffee

You can walk to or park at the mills. You can walk around the two windmills, water mill and coffee shop for free. You certainly don't have to book and it's a very pleasant way to spend an hour or two. There is a guided tour... More
