A friendly boozer with decent beer and friendly staff and locals. There are frequent traditional music sessions. Out of season, the opening hours vary so check before you travel.

Bunbeg's one of those doesn't' really matter what you do or don't engagements. It's great little spot to seek and pause, walkabout the water's edge and have yet another wonderfully engaging pint of Guinness before moving on for broader strokes.

Guinness to die for in this great little bar. Good spot to watch the GAA and just sit and relax. Did I mention the Guinness?

Visit on a Monday night and you will get a feast of Irish music played by locals and visitors. Great atmosphere in a traditional pub setting. Don't arrive too early as the music doesn't get going till after 9.00 but well worth the wait. Fiddle,...More

Found from the locals that the session wasn't likely to start until 10:30pm, so timed our evening accordingly. Arrived just as things were starting, and the session was excellent: several fiddlers, a couple of guitars, a piper, and a couple of songs thrown in for...More
