We walked down to the very end on a very windy day and the view was amazing. I wouldn't recommend the walk to anyone unable to walk up an steep incline. We had a buggy and we had to take turns pushing it back up. Oh and dont loose your tickets on way down as they check it at the... More

The drive to Mizen Head is long and a bit stressful, BUT once you get there, you will never want to leave! People talk about the Cliffs of Moher being stunning, but they pale in comparison to what God did at Mizen Head. There are several trails on the side of the cliff that all offer an array of stunning... More

Everyone deserves a 'Golden Summer' to look back on and smile. Young free and oh so easy at 19, i spent one in Barleycove working, surfing, meeting the locals, first time heartbreak. Heady stuff indeed. when the mizen visitors centre was a garden shed with a perspex window and maybe a wooden donation box. Its all too hazy.. Imagine my... More

We recently took a road trip to west Cork and the Mizen head visitors Center was one of our stops. The drive there is very nice as there are lots of beautiful stops along the cost. It's a nice walk along the paths to the signal station which is about 6 km. We were lucky to spot some seals at... More

Staff are super,A bautiful day out, The drive down is something you will only find in Ireland. The food and the surroundings would not be matched anywhere in the world. To sit outside with a cup of tea/coffee looking out at the Atlantic ,time just seems to stand still. Enjoy.

What a beautiful sight to behold. Crashing waves against the most spectacular cliff tops. Well worth a trip here. The sea life is very much alive. Very reasonable for the tickets. I would highly recommend doing the bridge cross. At the moment renovations are being done but It did not effect our experience.

Stunningly raw. Some of the sign posting might clearer, but overall it was a very nice experience despite the mist!

The visitor center is nice to visit with good food. It is a shame that you must pay in to go down to the cliffs even if you do not want to spend time in the center.

One of the best visitor centres I have ever visited! Interesting naval and ship-wreck information. Stunning views from all angles! Well worth the trip.

Worth seeing and worth going to see: the Mizen Head Signal Station and Visitor Centre and Cliffs etc should be an essential part of any West Cork itinerary. The most south-westerly point in Ireland is now really accessible due to the work done in constructing the various walkways and bridges ... the old single station is interesting from the historical...
