Family with children: 14,13,4. First time but definitely not the last. Unforgettable views. Combining nature with the help of human impact is amazing. Route well described. Tidy. We only passed one tark 6km. Worth it. If anyone loves nature this is the place for him. I recommend.

Stunning scenery Suitable for 8+....younger kids might struggle Take waterproofs, chocolate and water. This is a fairly tough 6km / 2.30hr walk up some tough terrain Well worth it...wonderful

Such a shame it was raining the day we visited but we still marvelled at the karst landscape. Would have loved to ramble over a larger area to really look at the flora.

Although we didn't find a lot of spots to pull off the road for pictures we just enjoyed the scenery. It is amazing to think of the age of this area.

We hired a private driver who took us around from our stay in Cty Clare. So, I just knew about Cliffs of Moher & didn't feel the pressure to research every single thing ahead of time (which for once was nice!!!) I did not have any idea about this place, but we pulled up to it's rugged coastline & I... More

The stark and vast plains of stone nestled in front of the Atlantic Ocean create a stunning view! I highly recommend a stop to explore the unique sights and recognize the engaging 'life' among the rocks in the form of grasses and flowers. It's really amazing and unique compared to the USA!

A must see of this fabulous unique terrain in Ireland. Hike and look for fossils but watch your footing as not to get your ankles caught between rocks.

First, getting there is by itself a treat. If you are driving, you will be going through very narrow back roads winding around actual operating farms. You get to see the country side with horses and cows and other farm animals. Once at the Burren, if you have time, take one of the several walking trails and explore on your... More

I have been in the Burren many times and still Im amazed every single time. For some people its only grey stone formations, to me its one of the most special areas Ive ever seen. If you walk on the stone, just see whats hidden in the cracks. You see mediterrane flowers right beside alpine flowers. Its unbelievable. Most amazing... More
