This lovely facility holds the long and diverse African-American history of Knoxville. There's a bookstore, a small library, meeting rooms, garden, archives of photographs, news stories, and memorabilia of Knoxville's place in the long march to civil justice.

Beck is an old house with modern additions on the back. It houses an extensive archive of local black history. In the house are fantastic photos of the desegregation struggle and other memorabilia.
