Free elevator ride to the top for a 360degree view of Knoxville. A relic from the 1983 worlds fair that’s showing its age. Easy to visualize the lines around the block waiting to ride to the top when it was new...now it’s just you and...More

We took a chance and went to the observation deck despite the rain that had been coming down all day. It was still a wonderful 360 degree view of the city and the UT campus.

Finally made it to the Sunsphere of The Simpsons and World Fair fame. Free admission to the lifts which take you up to the panoramic view of Knoxville. Another tick on my list after seeing it from afar 2 years ago.

A relic from the 1980s that is now free to visit with views over the city. The structure could use some work though, since it feels rather dated. I still think the visit is worth it, it is a landmark of the time, it is...More

It was a nice view but we could not find enough activities to keep us there more than 20 minutes. We would maybe return.

Yes, to get inside it is free and the observation deck is also free. I believe there was a restaurant on one of the levels, which obviously would cost you, and you might have to pay for parking nearby to check this out, but... More
