Hands On really needs some updates. Some of the things there have been there since it first opened. If you have been there two or three times it becomes boring. They do bring in new things but the things that are there all the time...More

Not as entertaining as it looks and not as big as it looks. The kids enjoyed it for about 2 hours then became bored. My first time here and I was disappointed from the lack of it being called a hands on museum. All I...More

Such a fun and cute little hands on museum located right downtown. My two-year-old and I had a wonderful time, we played for a couple of hours. Lots of different activities on two floors. Definitely recommend this place. We drove from Asheville. Five stars!

This is a great little museum to take younger kids to and is very reasonably priced. Teenage children would probably be bored after a little bit, but our three, five, and seven year old children loved it.

I use to work here and truly love this museum. However, it seems to be lagging behind other children's museums by far. I took my toddler to visit and was actually disappointed that I spent money on tickets. There aren't any new attractions and the...More
