The old country store stocks candy we didn't even know still existed, like candy buttons and bit-o-honey. The buffet is a scene but you can also get plate lunches to go or eat there are the café on the other side. Classic southern coming. Many sugared up children and old people enjoying pie and the like.

We stayed in Jackson TN, where Casey Jones Village is located so we decided to stop by. I would not go out of your way to visit it. Not much to really do there. A number of empty stores in the village. We were disappointed.

Just stopped here by chance as the name intrigued me from my childhood! Great little set up & the coffee was good too. Only visited for a coffee but wish I had more time there to eat & explore more!!

I stopped here toward the end of a 4000 mile motorcycle trip. I was was HUNGRY and this was just the place. Signs tempted me for miles before I arrived. I was not disappointed. After days and days of the same old thing the buffet really hit the spot. Service was friendly and prompt. Great value for the money.

My family and I always enjoy visiting this great Jackson attraction. The food is good and the staff is friendly, I would advise visiting on any day but Sunday. This can be a very busy day for this particular business.

Casey Jones Village is the home of "The Old Country Store", Casey Jones Home and Rail Road Museum, various small shops, and ampitheater. If you have an interest is trains it is a fun stop. The Old Country Store and shops carry a variety of merchandise. It's a great place to stop, eat and take your time.

If you are looking for some really great, down home southern cooking, then this is the place to go!The cute little country store, as well as the shops outside, and the train museum are an added bonus. Allow at least 2-3 hours if you would like to get the full experience.

We went on a Tuesday, the week after christmas.. paid $6.50 per adult. There is a museum, a short 9 min video, the casey jones house and a train.. The train cars were not open, none of the little shops in the village were open and the farm was not maintained very well.. disappointing...

This is a wonderful little stop in Jackson. We make it a point to stop here anytime we come through the area. It is a great free stop for our toddler to get out and run around. There is a charge for the train museum but on the other side is a great gift shop with a Thomas play area.... More
