I remember watching Casey Jones on the TV when I was a kid. Little did I know that one day, I’d be standing outside of the real Casey Jones’ house! This may be a tourist trap, but it is charming and is worth having a...More

Off the interstate is Casey Jones village. Looks pretty authentic with lots of souvenier shops and restaurants. Also the Casey Jones Museum which is wel laid out and worth a look.

Nice buffet with lots of southern style food . Friendly employees. Store in front with candies and other knick knacks. Outdoors, an authentic Gulf Mobile and Ohio railroad passenger car. This restaurant, founded in 1965, may predate the Cracker Barrel, which is similar but not...More

Did I miss something here? I've heard folks rave about this buffet for yrs. First of all, the buffet price is ridiculous.. $18 with sweet tea.. Ouch!! Now, the money wouldn't be the deal breaker, if the food was any good. It's not. And not...More

I enjoyed it here. Train buffs will enjoy it. I suspect lille kids would enjoy the Thomas stuff and the chance to ring the engine bell. If you are in Jackson I would drop in.

When we visited the museum had a small entrance fee but I cannot verify what they are today. This is a very nice attraction in a small rural city - please enjoy.
