Absolutely fell in love with how beautiful and peaceful this Park was. The perfect get away with family with lots to do. (Swimming, fishing, ping pong, shuffle board, foosball, hiking, etc.) Can’t wait to come again.

Standing Stone State Park is local for us. We are regular Sunday hikers. The trails are well marked & maintained. We always find the park peaceful and the trails surprisingly lightly used. As we are quiet hikers it is common to see ample wildlife, particularly...More

Decided to rent a cabin here for a few days during the week. Good and bad idea. Good because not crowded (many schools have already started). Bad because most of facilities were not open such as pool, rec hall, etc. Setting was pretty, cabin was...More

There is so much to do here. Kayak/canoe rental which included paddles, life jackets and was only $7/hr. The pool is wonderful and has a decent snack bar. Open 10-5:30. Clean bathrooms throughout the park. Tennis courts are in good shape and well kept. They...More

We love Standing Stone. The area below the Dam is just beautiful. Great place for a picnic lunch. The hiking is really great too.

This was a very nice peaceful state park. We stayed in a rustic cabin. It was “very” rustic. Pool was nice and snack bar food was good. Lake trail needed some maintenance. Very nice staff.

We camped four nights and really enjoyed the park! We explored the 6-mile hiking trail around the lake. It was very adventurous to say the least.

Camped for 4 days. Bath house is clean but low eater pressure. We rented a John boat but if you don't want to row, being a trolling motor...no bug motors allowed. Great history...old park. Staff is nice. Be sure to but groceries before you get...More

By far the worse state park in Tennessee. The roads are too narrow to navigate. Sites are un-level and badly sloped. Absolutely no television service or dish network satellite service. BUT, the number one reason this park is so bad is because of the park...More

Not terribly clear in the lake (I assume it is because it is pretty deep) - but seems to be more clear as it goes over the dam and down the little stream. I have seen people fishing in the lake before - so I assume you can... More
