This could be a nice course but it is not. It is managed like a city park not a golf course. The employees are mostly clueless about golf. This course needs a golf pro to manage it as a golf course and not a city park.

Nice public Long Hollow Golf Course offering men's group 2 days a week on Tuesday and Thursday at 8 am. Nice putting green and chipping green including a sand trap. Large driving range on grass... no plastic mats. Jimbo PGA pro is truly nice and funny. He welcomes you as if he had known you forever. Once settled in house I will for sure be playing with the men's group .... 18 holes with cart for $27. I had called Jimbo before I left Vietnam so after my 12,000 mile journey it was a must stop and see. Very happy to find the club with so much to offer.

I would consider this an average public course once it "greens up" and dries out. Satisfactory layout. Pretty wide open so playable even for high handicap golfers. One or two quirky holes. Limited food at clubhouse consisting of burgers and hot dogs. Clubhouse staff was friendly. Nice patio to sit on during warm weather. Ample parking. No GPS on carts. A good course to warm up on before playing a more challenging course.

I went out to play on the weekend. Checked in at the desk. I was told since I was a single player I would not be able to play they were only letting groups out and since I wasn't with a group I could not play. I thought this was a public course and according to their website single players could walk on at anytime. The two old guys at the counter acted like it was a country club. They were so rude don't think I will ever go back.
