Such a cute shop. The couple running it were so sweet and helpful. She was shelling peas on the porch and he was inside the store. I loved the cowboy cookies and the fudge. Bought several items we’re going to try once we get home. I ask about wearing a mask. They said it is up to the person. So the review about the owner not wearing the mask is very rude. If you are that scared of the virus then you need to stay home!!!! It is there shop and property. We will definitely visits again. Such a quaint little shop with adorable owners. ROLL TIDE!!!

On previous visits, I have always enjoyed this "mom and pop" shop and their tasty homemade goodies like chicken pot pie, jams and jellies, dip mixes, and other treats. I've bought many gifts for friends here. It is a very small shop, so we have been reluctant to visit during COVID, but I wanted to pick up a few items today so we stopped by and were encouraged that we were the only customers. We went in and found "pop" in one of the two rooms, not wearing a mask. We quickly went to the second room which is where most of the merchandise we were looking for was located. He followed us in, which made me a bit nervous since we are very careful about the shops we patronize due to our high risk for COVID. He asked whether we needed help finding anything, and I told him we were looking to purchase several items, but were uncomfortable about making any transactions with him since he was not wearing a mask or taking any other precautions mandated in our county for health reasons. His response was, "Sorry." As in, too bad, I am not putting on a mask. So we left and will take our business elsewhere from now on. He has lost our business. More importantly, if he and his co-owner wife are not willing to take basic precautions in their shop, it makes me question what kind of precautions they are taking at home where they are making the homemade goods that they are selling in their shop. I would have given them one star instead if two if it weren't for the fact that their products were so good before. I think if they were to be more responsible and compliant with local health mandates, they could regain the trust of some of their regular customers. As for me, I will not be going back. I'll miss their pot pies, they were really good.

We tried to find them on a Monday but couldn’t find them. We called and they are open certain days of the week only. Check before heading out.

Nice visit with Farmer Brown's husband. We got some wonderful treats to take home. They have jellies, candies, breads, soaps, etc. that I've never seen anywhere else. Delicious cashew brittle. I'll definitely go again.

I've visited Gallatin for years and happened upon this place when looking on TripAdvisor. We decided we needed to see what it was all about. The owners are so friendly and happy to share the stories behind the local products. Many of them are made there by Farmer Brown! Can't wait to come back in the summer when the produce is available. Until then, it's still fun to visit for homemade lotions, soaps, teas, baked goods, etc. Great view of the Gallatin castle from here, too. Definitely worth a visit!
