Located just a straight shot south from downtown Nashville, quaint downtown Franklin is the perfect sleepy Southern town. Visitors can easily spend a day browsing antique shops and boutiques and dining at one of its many ecelctic restaurants. Downtown Franklin offers an eclectic mix of antique shops, gift and book stores, art galleries and clothing boutiques. Franklin hosts several festivals each year.

Loved being able to walk up and down the street and check out all the wonderful items in the shops. Great places to stop and eat or just get a drink. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Don't miss this spot!

I am a senior citizen with some walking issues. I enjoyed being able to tour the area at my own pace. There are numerous areas to rest and "sit a spell". People are friendly and I felt safe walking in the early evening. Lots of...More

The Philanthropy boutique is just the best store we have found in a long time. Puckett's was a great little eatery. The people were all friendly and it is very walk able with tons of parking. Pretty much the best part of our entire Tennessee...More

We loved the feeling we got when visiting downtown Franklin. Such a quaint town. Very rich in history. Take time to read all the wonderful land marks and information hung on buildings, churches and homes. Great shops and resturants. We will definitely be back!

Cute boutiques and restaurants on every block. Historical sites, brewery's, whiskey distillery not very far and of course music, something for everybody.

Not always but if they have a band playing and you want to make sure you see the band, it will help. The band normally doesn't play until 8pm so if you're eating before 7pm, you'll probably be able to walk right in.
