There's always something going on downtown Franklin. It's a great hangout spot, date spot and just walk around spot, too. With Sweet Cece's, Puckett's and all the shops you could want or need - who could go wrong?

When I go to downtown Franklin I am always amazed at how much I like it. In some parts it is very ordinary with auto parts stores, thrift shops and small dry cleaners. But from Main Street on, I just like the vibe. It's trendy...More

Enjoyed a leisurely walk around town with the family after visiting The Carnton Plantation, The Lotz House and The Carter House. We purchased an ice cream cone and walked around the town. Nice way to end our day.

Pick up a small map of the downtown area and hit the sidewalk; you never know who you might meet. And most everyone seems genuinely friendly and helpful if you have questions about the area. There is a lot of passion in this little town!

I was disappointed. The main street was charming enough - but really nothing out of the ordinary. There are many small towns just like it - so it you have better things to do, you don't miss much.
