Located just a straight shot south from downtown Nashville, quaint downtown Franklin is the perfect sleepy Southern town. Visitors can easily spend a day browsing antique shops and boutiques and dining at one of its many ecelctic restaurants. Downtown Franklin offers an eclectic mix of antique shops, gift and book stores, art galleries and clothing boutiques. Franklin hosts several festivals each year.

This was my second visit to just wander downtown Franklin and I, once again, enjoyed it. Free parking and a free parking garage make it all that much easier to wander the town.

We really loved this place. It's a quaint small town with a quiet feel. Free parking downtown makes it really easy to access. The visitor centre was friendly and helpful. Great coffee at the frothy monkey.

Franklin has a nice downtown, with lots of shopping and restaurants and a quaint atmosphere. Outside of downtown you can explore interesting Civil War sites.

After your Lotz House and Carnton tours walk through down town and have lunch or dinner at some great places...and great shopping too.

I think I want to move here. This little town has charmed me. The downtown has many historic buildings. It's fun to walk the several blocks that consist of the downtown. Love it!

The street through downtown is full of cute shops and delicious restaurants. We visited here two different days for several hours each time. Probably 6 blocks in length, both sides of the road. Flat, easy walking.

No. Not much Sunday shopping. It is mostly about the restaurants on Sundays.
