Not just walking tours, we now offer bicycle tours and rentals too. The ghost tour is our most popular tour, but visitors also love hearing about the rich past that lies just beneath the surface of Franklin's quaint Victorian charm. Site of "the most famous battle you've never heard of," according to National Geographic, Franklin's Civil War story will amaze and enlighten you on the most divisive time in American history. Just minutes south of Nashville, Franklin is often cited as one of the most beautiful downtowns in the U.S. Our enthusiastic, knowledgeable guides will make your visit to historic Franklin an unforgettable experience. Our tours include the Classic Franklin city tour, Civil War in Franklin, Grave Matters in the Cemetery, and for fans of evening activities, the Haunted Franklin, Ghosts of the Battlefield at the Lotz House and Murder and Mayhem Tours. Bicycle tours and rentals are available from March-November and our Southern Style food tours allow visitors to savor the flavors of Franklin and enjoy history at the same time. Most tours are available daily by advance reservation; some tours have minimums. Just call and see how flexible and accommodating we can be.

We spent the 4th of July in Franklin to avoid the downtown crowds and loved it. Not only were the shops great, but they are so pet friendly most had waterbowls outside their entrance for our four legged friend. WE ARE MOVING TO FRANKLIN!

Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed the tour. As for the missing pix, I wish I could tell you that's unusual, but it's not. People often tell us they either can't find them later, they're misted, their flash failed, etc. Personally, I have taken...More

Great tour. Margie was very accommodating on the tour. I was the only one and so we has time to see extra things. Margie gave a great overview to the war and some US cultural history outside of the big cities. Recommend a lot!

Thank you Samir! I remember you well- it was more of a conversation than a tour and I always enjoy getting others' perspectives too. Next time you're in the US I hope you can visit Franklin again.

Absolutely. We welcome dogs on all our tours. We do briefly go inside a couple places on some daytime tours, however. One is a church that doesn't allow dogs. Which tour were you considering?

Most tours are 90 minutes. Food tour is longer. Cost for most is $20 per adult, less for teens and kids. Not a lot of walking. They stick to downtown historic area, stopping at several spots to tell you about the history.
