Alicia was an excellent guide and helped us understand Franklins role in the civil war. The walking was easy and the story told was very interesting.

My husband and I absolutely loved the food tour. Our guide was knowledgable, friendly, and chose the most unique places that showcased true southern fare with flair. I am already planning my next girl's trip to include this tour and the ghost tour.

Our Widow of the South tour includes tickets to the 3 houses that you then tour on your own. Each site offers its own tours. You save quite a bit doing it this way.

Absolutely. We welcome dogs on all our tours. We do briefly go inside a couple places on some daytime tours, however. One is a church that doesn't allow dogs. Which tour were you considering?

Most tours are 90 minutes. Food tour is longer. Cost for most is $20 per adult, less for teens and kids. Not a lot of walking. They stick to downtown historic area, stopping at several spots to tell you about the history.
