The museum is well located in the downtown area. There is easy free parking and the museum itself was free. There are outside train car exhibits as well as things to see in the depot. The recreated city layout of model trains was fun, too....More

Nice old train station and historic site. You're able to board the old train at the depot, and the building houses a small museum.

A small but very nice train museum with lots to see and knowledgeable staff. It is very well maintained and a testimony for the citizens of Cookeville.

Small train memorabilia museum. Enjoyed visiting waiting for our excursion train return trip. I guess it is good for history buffs.

This is a small museum with some interesting historical items and information. The train cars are nice to look at and make for good photos. The model train that shows a bygone era is fun to watch.

The Depot Museum along with Cream City (across the street) and the Cookeville/Putnam county heritage museum (1 1/2 blocks west) are all free and open to the public. Also the farmers market is just around the corner.
