Stopped here to see the bicycle arch and train. Lots of cool pictures and the kids enjoyed. You can get really close to see the inside of the cars with steps to each one.

My young son always enjoyed going to the Depot Museum to watch the model trains run through a miniature model of the city Cookeville. Playing in the parked rail cars is also fun for any child who is fascinated with trains.

The Cookeville Depot Museum is a must stop for anyone who loves vintage train nostalgia. Walking around the depot takes one back in time and it makes you feel at home.

The arch formed with bicycles was unique. Children enjoyed the trains and depot. The surrounding area was beautiful, quaint and offers food, drink and ice cream.

This a pretty neat little stop if you have teens, but mine got bored really quickly. This place has a great little place to get ice cream though and if you like quaint towns this is the place for you. Best thing it’s not only...More

The museum is well located in the downtown area. There is easy free parking and the museum itself was free. There are outside train car exhibits as well as things to see in the depot. The recreated city layout of model trains was fun, too....More

Nice old train station and historic site. You're able to board the old train at the depot, and the building houses a small museum.

The Depot Museum along with Cream City (across the street) and the Cookeville/Putnam county heritage museum (1 1/2 blocks west) are all free and open to the public. Also the farmers market is just around the corner.
