This park features several playgrounds and picnic areas, but the highlight is the trail to the waterfalls. The trail is an easy hike, that does feature one steep but short hill. It is not even moderately strenuous for someone who could easily walk 2 miles on flat ground. We took our 6 year old daughter and she had no problem... More

I have visited this park several times. We have enjoyed the disc golf course and the picnic areas. Love to hit the trails and enjoy the peace and quit that they have to offer.

I've been going to this park my whole life. I've hiked to the waterfall numerous times. I have even made the trek to the Bays Mountain fire tower from here which is a challenge. The tennis courts, the walking track, the frisbee golf are all well maintained. The park is right on the river and I've been tubing and kayaking... More

Read about Laurel Run Park on a local site. We are always looking for new places to enjoy the outdoors. This park is nestled at the foothills of a mountain.. and the Holston river runs through it. A 2 mile hike will take you the waterfalls. A disc golf course and playground is also available.

Nice and clean little park next to the river. Close to my home so my family goes there often. They have recently added a Frisbee golf course. They have hiking trails with nice waterfalls. Could use some more playground equipment. Great prices on renting a shelter for birthdays or reunions. They have a ballfield and a nice paved walking trail.

One of the nicest parks around in my opinion. Local to my home and is well kept and maintained. Reasonable prices to rent tables for parties. Excellent place for children, decent playground for smaller ones, and it has a stream they can catch crawdads or wade. Tennis court, softball field, basketball also available. Bathrooms on premise. The Holston River flows... More

This park is so beautiful. There are neat hiking trails and it's shaded nicely. The coolest part is that back in 1984 Mel Gibson filmed a movie here called the river.

Beautiful country setting but most families have the same setting in their own back yard. Limited activities.

I love this park! We've had several of our daughters' birthday parties here. We like bringing the kids on a hot summer day & letting them play in the creek. Great playground! The hike to the waterfall is nice. We will definitely be returning here!

Thank Jessica C
