If you're planning to visit Chattanooga, you have to stop here first and devise a game plan. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They offer ideas on what and how to see the local sights and attractions. Take the free bus to travel all over the city.

Not to much to see. You have to pay for parking and very noisy because a lot of traffic. I did get nothing out of it.

There was a gentleman there that helped by showing us wehre things were on the map and giving us the correct brochures and coupons. Jump on the free trolleys here.

You have to look for this but they are helpful with the maps and it is also the start of the free electric shuttle that goes up to the Chattanooga Choo Choo with frequent stops along the way.

I can't say enough about the great people who work the booths and drive the free shuttle. They were so wonderful in helping me get around town. The drivers were very friendly and alerted you to your stop ahead. Runs on time and really goes the distance for great customer service.

We didn't even know this existed, and found it by chance when we were walking several blocks from our hotel to the Riverfront. There was no large sign, maybe only a "sandwich board" easel on the sidewalk. We went inside the open-air building to check it out. As other recent comments state, it is rather disappointing. However, the staff is... More

We had to disembark the free shuttle here and ended up finding out a lot of useful information from the very knowledgeable and very nice guides. Walked to lunch and the aquarium from here and then caught the free shuttle back to our hotel. This isn't an air-conditioned place but an open ended tunnel for the shuttles. There are rest... More

We were looking for the visitor center in Chattanooga, and then realized that it was this tiny stand under a building. They still had brochures and even the shuttle outside, but it wasn't the same. They got replaced by a rock climbing place with no AC.

We were so surprised and disappointed when we stumbled on this, because instead of being huge and inside a building, it was a little booth outside by the free shuttle stop. Still had brochures, and a person to talk to, just was a big letdown.
