Urban wineries provide access to consumers in an approachable space, and create a dialogue between the winemaker and the consumer. DeBarge Winery brings that opportunity to experience fine handcrafted wines to the heart of the Chattanooga's Southside District - because let's face it, wine is best enjoyed in everyday life.

Fun and delicious.

On the advice of a friend, we went to Debarge to try it out and we weren't disappointed. The wine was good, we took home a bottle, but the company was better. Candace was great... read more

I really enjoyed the wine. Ray the owner was very helpful and humble and knowledgable. I look forward to going back. The "Winery" is in downtown Chattanooga. The actual vineyard is about 25 minutes south, in Georgia. The vineyard has a new tasting room next to the stuff (barrels and all where the wine is made). The view is the... More

We are not wine snobs. We are also not wine novices. We are somewhere in the middle, where we sniff and swirl our wine, but we can't always tell the difference between a $20 bottle and a $90 bottle. Although definitely not the worst winery we have been to, this place isn't the best. The tasting is $5 for 4... More

You can stop on in and have an impromptu wine tasting for a reasonable price - $5 for 3 tastes. I did not find a suitable value when considering the price of the bottles of wine as related to the taste but some might

On the advice of a friend, we went to Debarge to try it out and we weren't disappointed. The wine was good, we took home a bottle, but the company was better. Candace was great and introduced us to friends with whom we spent the entire time conversing. If you are in the Chattanooga area, go by and enjoy. We... More

I loved the wine here. It was very tasty and I especially liked the Chardenay wine. Also, the person doing conducting the tasting was very knowledgeable!

After finally finding this place, was very disappointed in the lack of varieties of wines. Then the $5 tasting fee,,, We may have caught them on a bad day, but our host was terrible. Will not be going back here.

I have bought wine here before, at first there was no wine tasting fee, then a $5.00 wine tasting fee which was deducted off the price of a bottle of wine at purchase, now there is a $5.00 fee which is not taken off the price of a bottle of wine. You have to buy half a case to get... More

The wine was very good. Some different choices. Friendly host. Cool remodel of the old building. A fun area of the city.

They charge $5 for tasting. They did not tell me that there was a charge for tasting until after I tasted and was buying a bottle, and they would not waive the fee with a purchase. If you like dry wines this is the place for you even the off-dry are really dry and beware of the fee.
