Creative Discovery Museum is a hands-on children's museum in the heart of downtown Chattanooga that inspires all children to explore, innovate, create, and play. Our exhibits are designed to both entertain and educate as children discover the world around them and all it has to offer including art, music, dinosaur digging, water exploration, and science. Rated the #7 children's museum in the U.S. by Trekaroo in 2015.

It was so unorganized. I mean fun for the kids but a parents true nightmare. All the different sections were in complete chaos.

Went with a 3 1/2 yr old and a 1 1/2 yr old. Really not all that much of a museum, more like a playground. Not worth the price of admission, in my opinion.

We took a trip to Chattanooga just for this museum. My son loves it!!!! He was worn out after only an hour there and we had only made it thru the first floor. There are 3 floors. Definitely worth a trip here. Bring your own food though. The cafe is kind of expensive- $3.50 for a pb&j

As my title states on the last Thursday of the month at a certain time frame-everyone gets in free! Anyway, I have not been with my children in probably 2 years because now they are 7 and 10-I feel that they are too big for it now. Its perfect for kids ages 3-6 in (my opinion). They have s room... Good morning! Thanks so much for all the positive feedback. We really appreciate you spreading the word about all the Museum has to offer. However, I do want to make one correction. We are not free on the last Thursday of every month. Our Family Free Nights fall on the second Thursday of each month from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00... More

Kids liked it for a few times but now they are too old and it has gotten boring. Wish they were part of the passport program so we could get free entrance. A good half day activity.

Great for younger children. My 5 year old loved this museum. She had a lot of fun in the climbing cage. I was disappointed with the Medieval exhibit - was not very interesting for children but overall the museum was great fun and didn't cost a whole lot of money.

It was very crowded and I was a little unsure of the price to begin with but it was definitely worth it! Such a fun place! Lots of hands on activities for kids of all ages. Water play, indoor playground, small play area for kids under 4, art area, music area, doctor play area, dinosaur fossil digging area. They also... More

Probably my expectation was too high due to the other people's excellent reviews, but I was a little bit disappointed. The exhibition was not so creative or exiting. And the museum was much smaller than I expected. My son didn't show much interest to the exhibit but water area and outside play ground. My overall impression of this place was... More
