A fantastic cavern...Fantastic falls at the end of the tour...Well half way, you have to walk the half mile to return...You enter the attraction at an altitude of 1100 feet..You then travel 1100 feet down via an elevator and walking...In essence you are in a hollow mountain...An enjoyable experience..

This is a unique place to visit. It is a long process from the moment you park the car until you reach the fall. You only get couple of minutes at the fall as they are trying to accommodate many people, but it is worth the journey.

If you are the type of person who likes to stop and look at things along the way, or take pictures on anything but a cell phone, don't bother with Ruby Falls. Your tour involves a series of stops while you let other groups make their way past you on their way out, a few items pointed out to you... More

I love caves, and this was a beauty. They are very organized tours. The tour guides tell really corny jokes; the tours are less historical, more for entertainment. I think the experience would have been better if the tour guides weren't always trying to be so funny, and just let us appreciate the natural wonders that the cave offered.

Ruby Falls was a place we stopped by first thing in the morning on our way down to Florida. We kept seeing ads for miles and miles and decided to stop by. We did the 1.5 hour tour because we could do the 4 hour it was to long! It was fun walking through the cave and the guide was... More

Ruby Falls is well worth the time! Our tour guide was fun and knowledgeable, and of course the cave and falls are beautiful! We didn't have to wait in line very long to get on the elevator down to the cave. The staff were friendly. Even the food at the snack bar was very good; we had chicken fingers and... More

Great tour guide, beautiful scenery. Easy walk but if you are tall watch your head. Comfortable Temps in cave also.

This was the third time for my husband and I but the first for our grandchildren. We loved it again and it was a favorite for our grandchildren.

Ruby falls was very cool but extremely busy when we were there. We enjoyed the beauty in the cavern. Very interesting story of how they tunneled underneath the mountain. It was a beautiful ending with the falls. A bit pricey almost 100.00 for 1 1/2 or so hours. A one time deal for us.

The cavern is pretty and the waterfall is worth the wait. The cavern is lit with artificial colors to improve the appearance. Very commercialized but a pleasant experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable.
