Generally the grounds are well kept. The lake was a real disappointment. I don't know if they were having a drought have read others on here remark about the same thing. It was a stagnant unattractive mess when we were there. (Nothing like the picture)They...More

This campground has lots of trees and sites are not crowded. There are walking trails that are paved so bike riding is also possible. There isn’t a store on site but several within a couple of miles. Some sites are against the water.

Nice place for a stopover to get a little walk to break up a long trip. Just a few miles off the Caryville exit on I-75. Pretty little lake with a short walking trail. Not a very busy exit but gas and food nearby.

Always nice to go here in the evening. Take a long walk on the forest trail or take the front trail to enjoy the sun. The restaurant on the premises is nice.

My husband and I stopped here briefly for a hike and wished we had more time to explore. We stopped in October and it was a beautiful time.

You can if you are camping on a camp site. Fires aren't allowed anywhere else on park grounds though due to safety. Thank you
