This park was clean, had plenty of parking and it was a great place to see the beauty East Tennessee has to offer. We saw ducks, fly fishermen and walked the beautiful trails. It was very peaceful. Continue up the road & you will find a hidden gem. A massive dam with incredible photo opportunities. People might think that seeing... More

One of my favorite places to go. Great shaded places with picnic tables. Walking on the island. Many people fly fish when the dam is not generating. Beautiful, restful spot! A must if you are in Bristol!

The damn is in the middle of nowhere but beautiful! The walking trails are good for young children. My couples, joggers and families when we were there. Can be windy but overall a great place for walking or enjoying nature. Good place to take pictures.

I have taken my motorcycle there multiple times. Very cool place to be in the summer time and fall is nice with lots of natural beauty from the trees.

This is a beautiful location for a walk, a picnic, birding, or wetting a hook. Nice walking trail 1-1.5 miles. Several fly fishermen trying their luck. We saw several nice trout from above while crossing the trail bridge. Restrooms available. Drive across dam for nice view of lake and mountains.

Not being a local the roads were a little hard to navigate and the water was way down. Other than that it was very beautiful. It seemed very busy for this time of year so It must be a popular spot with the locals.

Have been there many times as I live local. Enjoy the tranquility of nature Like any fly fishing, advisable to wear waders with good grip on bottom of "shoe"

Or You can park at one of the parking spaces provided on either end and walk across the dam and have a seat on one of the rocks and just take... More

Such a relaxing place and the view from the top of the dam is phenomenal. Loads of picnic tables and at certain times you can walk into the water to fish. Be aware of the times that the water will be released. A great place to walk and enjoy nature.
