We toured the entire recreation area and were impressed by the variety of activities available. Having a boat is essential to many of them but there were plenty of land based recreational opportunities as well.

There are horse trails and a walking, bike trails. But no ATV. You can rent bikes but not sure about horses.

Yes. Along the State Highway 52 there are gas stations and convenience stores with firewood.
