Interesting display and information on the USS South Dakota Battleship. As a Veteran I really enjoy these types of Memorials. Easy to find and takes only an hour to see most of it. Friendly staff to help explain.

The actual-size stone outline of the battleship South Dakota laid out on the ground, with various ship artifacts in their appropricate places, gives a sense of the scale of this century-old technology. A good 30 minute stop, worth a detour.

They have some great artifacts and very cool pieces to display from the ship, WWII and Japan. Worth the stop, free admission.

Outside there is an outline of the Battleship and a few other items from the ship. The museum took about 30 minutes to look through.
