First off this attraction is free and this is why we went something else to see while we were on vacation that wasn't going to cost an arm and a leg. It was so worth it. We got a lot of really great photo opportunities with the dinosaurs. And the view from top of the hill is absolutely phenomenal

This is a pretty cool place for a family to take their young ones that are interested in dinosaurs. I recommend it for families

The kids had fun climbing on the dinos and burning some energy on the stairs. The skyline view was enjoyed by all. This is a fairly quick stop but very pretty at nightfall. The stairs were VERY icy. You need gloves and boots with traction in the winter.

At the middle of Rapid City is Skyline Drive, on Skyline Drive is Dinosaur Park. The brontosaurus is visible from many vantage points while driving around town. There are fabulous city views and several varieties of concrete dinosaurs for the kids to check out. There is also a gift shop open from May to September and even a lovely patio... More

Small walking park with a few large dinosaur statues. Great views, but if you drive further up there is a nice look out place. This is a place where kids run to the next dinosaur try to climb, repeat like 4 times then your done. Yes, check out but your child will still need another play park to finish playing... More

I came here as a child, more than 50 years ago, and visited again as an adult, although this time riding a bike to the top, instead of in the backseat of a car. Great views, fun nostalgia to walk amongst the giant dinosaurs, will always go back. Highest place in Rapid City with a good view of the city... More

if you are in the area it is neat to see, nothing special though. I don't know if it was just me but we had a heck of a time finding the place.

It's time to throw a fresh coat of paint on the dinos. It's probably not the best time of year to visit, but we were in need of an outdoor activity to burn off toddler energy. This did the trick, and the kids didn't care that T-Rex was looking a little worn. Both my boys really enjoyed themselves. Nice views... More

It's pretty much what you would expect from a park of concrete dinosaurs built in the 30s. The dinosaurs are no longer in great shape, but they're still mildly interesting. You don't need to spend a lot of time here, but it would be a fun place to take a picnic lunch and let your kids run around. It is... More

I had to drive by once I saw the signs for dinosaur park. I mean come on, it's a free attraction plus you get a great view of the city. I stopped on a very cold day and did not stay that long, but it was still kind of cool. There are a lot of steps, so be prepared for... More
