I liked thw view from the park. Dinosaurs are quite old but they are still charming. Attraction is free so you can spend easily half an hour walking around them. Your children will like it for sure!

HA HA hubby said I tricked him into going here. He thought he was going to see "real" dinosaurs! Dinos in great shape and you do have to go up a hill to get to them. Don't expect a whole lot of them but it...More

Where else can you see huge Dino models for free? This park was a Works Project Administration project in the 1930's and has been kept up since then. It is not handicapped accessible & up a steep set of stairs. That, however, is half the...More

We brought grandkids up to see Dinosaur Park. They thought it was great and didn't want to leave when it was time.

Let them run! This is perfect for kids of all ages. Plenty to see and do. Gives you a much better perspective on how big these giants may have been. There are also many great views of Rapid City from here and many trails that...More

There's not much to do here except get a view of the city (though it's not the highest hill) and look at the dinosaurs. Only a couple of them are climb-able (which is allowed). After visiting, it's also nice to spot the "dinosaur hill" from...More

Great park overlooking the city. My 2 1/2 year old was in awe the entire time. The views were incredible. The climb was a little steep and caught us off guard, but it's worth the trip.

Made the short stop on the way to Mount Rushmore. Has great views overlooking Rapid City. Cute little area for children of all ages I wouldn't recommend stopping and if you have the time. Don't take extra time just to see it it's not worth...More

You park at the bottom then walk up the steps. There's about 5 dinosaurs and the best part is the view of the city from the top.

Yes, but be aware that if your pooch has any cranky joints, all those steps are going to be hard on her.

That steep winding road everyone is mentioning also really doesn't have a shoulder. I have walked it before, but you need to be careful. The steep turns mean cars can't always see you coming.
