Concrete dinosaurs? The drive up Skyline Drive was interesting but they could do everyone a favor and Recycle the concrete dinosaurs. Very tacky. Great city views though. Check, off my bucket list.

The best short walk in Rapid City, and when you get to the top, an exceptional view of both sides of the City. The dinosaurs are a great lesson in what used to roam the territory. Kids have climbed on and learned about what they...More

I think I would have appreciated it more after we spent time in the badlands learning about how dinosaurs once lived here or going to one of the digs. We took our kids, they had fun climbing on the dinosaurs and getting ice cream afterwards,...More

I wouldn't really call this a park, it's just a bunch of old statues and the area is quite small. There are a lot of steps to go up so not accessible for people in a wheelchair. We had fun here taking funny pictures though...More

Closed during the off season, which was disappointing. However a nice drive and great views of the city! And you can still see some dinosaurs from the road.

It's a fun little park with dinosaur statues, the average teen could be entertained for a little while. Great view of downtown Rapid City and part of the rest of the city. If in Rapid City, it's a nice break from the crowded tourist attractions.

Friday, March 23. The park is FREE! There was a sign that said it was closed. However, since all the dinasaurs were outside, we were ok, and took some pictures. It was freezing up there. We just took pictures. We were here for just 20...More

Cool view over the town on a cool windy day.... still worth the short drive up. Interesting historical site.

I visited this cost-free city-owned attraction last summer and found that the removations were top notch. This is awesome and educational. Great family stop.

The whole thing might take an hour, the walk isn't long but you climb about 100 feet of stairs.

Yes, but be aware that if your pooch has any cranky joints, all those steps are going to be hard on her.

That steep winding road everyone is mentioning also really doesn't have a shoulder. I have walked it before, but you need to be careful. The steep turns mean cars can't always see you coming.
