I grew up in Hill City SD and as a child I always wanted to see Cosmos. I never did. My husband lived in Rapid City SD. Soon after we were married we moved to the other part of the state. We came back for our wedding anniversary.I was very skeptical ,this has been a tourist attraction for ever. I... More

We didn't pick the date for our vacation, and so we ended up passing through Rapid City off season. Almost everything is closed, but Cosmos was open. It was a touch expensive, but if you can end up in a smaller group it is worth at least one visit in a lifetime. We ended up in a group of six.... More

Stopped here on a rainy day while visiting the Black Hills. I was a little skeptical at first but it is really cool. I still haven't figured out how it all works. The only thing is, I think it is a little costly for the 20 minutes you are there.

Great activity. Staff were super nice and made it a fun tour. One of the few places that were open in the off season. So glad we had the chance to go.

We visited Cosmos because our youngest (preteen) read about it and really wanted to check it out. We drove up in the cold, snowy weather and hoped they'd be open for tours. The lady in the store where you buy tickets was super nice, helpful, and gave us great incite on local places to visit. Our tour guide was funny... More
