Nice place to visit and certainly a great stop if you are needing a break, We stopped on our way to Sturgis. They have a short history movie to view, I had forgotten they actually do concerts there, I didnt get to see one though.

A friend told me that the building was made entirely of corn, so that's what I expected to see. Corn mosaic murals is what it is.

The building is full of corn decoration, it's a combination of art and creativity. It's unique and I believe you couldn't find it anywhere else. There are many free parking lots around the building just within walking distance.

We come thru Mitchell about once a year and always enjoy stopping at the corn palace. They change it every year and it's always so interesting. Would suggest a stop by even if to check the outside out. Amazing what they can do with corn.
