We have visited this small but mighty museum twice in two years, once solo and once with our Dino enthusiast Kids. We think this museum's specimens are magnificent and the museum is well-worth the visit. It is small and you should expect to make numerous...More

The museum is small, but worth stopping for. For its size it is a pretty well put together place. Excellent exhibits, and an equally nice gift shop.

The whole display fits in one small 1930's basketball gym that has no room other than for the court. There are a lot of fossils but it would take time to read them and unless that is really really your thing you will get bored...More

If you have an interest in geology or dinosaurs, this is a must see! The collection of fossils is truly extraordinary. The gift shop is full of fun things, minerals, jewelry, etc. but the museum itself has a ton of excellent specimens.

A cool museum in a small town. Not only fossils, reconstructions, but also geologic samples from all around the world. Also has a very extensive gift shop.

Not by way of the front entrance, since there is a flight of stairs to go up. Call and ask if there a handicapped entrance. And yes, there's a narrow walkway once in the museum but it would be ok for wheelchair.

I think it was $7 a person to get in to the museum part. The gift shop, where you actually enter the building, is free.
