It really doesn't get more authentic or personal than this. Not sure I understand the necessity of watching the VHS tape on the old TV in the shed besides scaring me that this gold panning situation was going to be terrible? I was pleasantly surprised...More

This was a fantastic place for the family. No frills, down home feel and no crowds. We had an older gentleman work with us the entire time and didn't rush us.

Our family had fun panning for gold with Bill. He was very knowledgeable and made sure we left no gold behind. We found a little gold and lots of garnets.

Thank you for your question! Our tour takes around 1 hr 15 minutes, and panning is around an hour and a half. You can certainly spend more time, but I would say a good 3 hours is reasonable. Hope we see you soon!
