We just thought it would be a plaque showing the geographic center of the nation, but it was so much more. It has it all in a compact center. And a historic cabin to walk through.

the museum was very interesting, small but still lots of interesting items. Prohibition display was my favorite. Although off-center the marker for the center of the nation is very nice.

They always have family activities planned. Once a month they have a discovery day for you to bring young children to explore. They also have a few hands on exhibits to keep kids interested. Worth it to stop by.

While there was a lot of information regarding the early history of the area. The staff did not seem to know a lot about the area. There were some great books in their book store.Would be a great stop for families with children.

There was really nothing exceptional to see here. It was clean and well maintained. The gentleman manning the reception desk acted as if I wasn't there (not an uncommon experience as an over-weight woman) while subsequently fawning over other visitors who entered. If you're stopping...More
