I love the Frampton Plantation House. I would like to live there, if possible. It is such a beautiful house, with such charm to it. Every time we are travelling north or south on I-95 through SC, we always stop here. First, it's a lovely...More

The Lowcountry Visitors Center & Museum is off I-95 near the South Point KOA. Although a small and atypical Visitor Center, it is worth a stop. Originally part of a 1700's King’s Grant to the Frampton family, "The Hill" Plantation now houses a Visitor Center,...More

Don't expect a house tour or civil war battlefields. This is a reconstruction era home with some family history turned into a 4 room gift shop/visitor center. Very close to the highway. There's no downside to stopping in for some great local sightseeing literature, clean...More

It was just 3 room gift shop. It was not like any of the other ones I have been too. There was not much history about the place.

Employees were so mild and helpful and seemed peaceful. They’ve tried to recreate some of the rooms like they would have been from 200years ago while having a gift shop as well. Beautiful grounds. Could even picnic here.

As we were driving from Savannah, Georgia to South Carolina we saw this Visitor's Center that focuses on "The Low Country". The two ladies who worked there were very nice and I am really glad we stopped here.

Frampton Plantation House is an excellent starting place for low country history. Great gift store and informed employees make this a great place for local folklore.
