Fascinating to see how the tea is processed from the field to the cup. Nice gift shop with tea samples too. Nice side trip even if you're not looking to spend money. (We didn't do the trolley tour but still enjoyed the visit.)

We recently visited the Tea Plantation when guests were in town....I have no idea why we never went before! We all LOVED it. It is such a beautiful drive to Wadmalaw and the grounds are stunning! We took the trolley ride around the plantation...the kids...More

30 to 40 mins - but it is such a pretty drive - well worth it - tree lined, scenic and the plantation is also such a lovely place.

Bigelow family/Chn Tea Plantation contracted with Whole Foods to carry their Bigelow tea...an option for source of purchase.....

Hello, we will be taking a cruise and will have a stop from 7am to 3pm in mid December. Is it worth visiting during this time since the plants are dormant in the winter? Are they offering the trolley tours during this time period?
